Tarpon Coast Builders exclusively utilizes a unique precast wall system for all construction applications. This wall system has been large projectile wind tested to 235 mph and is the heart of our SafeHouse™ and HurricaneHouse™ construction systems.  In addition to the system’s unparalled strength, there are numerous other advantages to the homeowner:

• Wind resistant – The wall system is Class 5 hurricane wind resistant.  The special combination of high density concrete mix with low water to cement ratio and fiber mesh – along with all the other components within the wall – provide the strength to withstand Florida’s harshest storm conditions.
• Watertight – Normal moisture absorption is virtually eliminated in the wall system compared to conventional concrete systems.  This provides a drier interior environment with decreased allergen and mold issues. The walls are poured using 5000-psi concrete, which results in an impermeable concrete barrier against water penetration, even without paint. The walls are installed using a high quality polyurethane sealing agent to prevent water seepage through the joints.  The resulting insulated wall system has proven to be watertight, even under the most challenging weather conditions.
• Less noise – The solid construction and thick insulation of the wall system act as an efficient sound barrier. You can hear the difference!
• Elimination of cracks – Another strong appeal is that the wall system one-step-pour concrete construction also eliminates step and joint cracking if foundations or slabs settle.
• Termite-resistant – Through the use of pressure-treated lumber for furring strips and the drier interior environment, the EPIC wall system provides a more pest-free and termite-proof setting.

Better quality – Produced under controlled factory conditions, our wall systems are custom engineered to meet the exact design specifications of the most demanding builder, consumer and building code official.  Trained professionals skilled in their craft fabricate them in one pour.  Insulation bonds to the concrete, creating a strong, water-resistant wall structure.  The walls are cured at the factory for maximum quality control.  Once they are carefully lifted out of the forms, the walls are placed onto specially designed carriers that gently transport them to the building site.
